1.2 Present Tense of Regular Verbs
Verb stems and endings
German verbs end in -en (spielen = to play, wohnen = to live). Drop -en for the stem, then add: ich -e, du -st, er/sie/es -t, wir -en, ihr -t, sie/Sie -en.
Spielen conjugated
spielen: ich spiele, du spielst, er spielt, wir spielen, ihr spielt, sie spielen. The wir and sie/Sie forms match the infinitive.
