AP 2-D Art & Design · Unit 2: Practice, Experiment & Revise

2.3 Revision

Revision as growth

Revision is reworking a design — or your whole approach — based on reflection and feedback. It shows how your inquiry and skills develop over time.

Iteration

Designers iterate: making a version, evaluating it, and trying again. Showing several versions or related attempts is strong evidence of a Sustained Investigation.

Feedback

Use critique and feedback to see your work with fresh eyes. Deciding what to keep, change, or push further is part of design judgment.
